Lubricate your hair with oil:

Applying oil to your hair before washing your hair is probably the best thing you can do for your hair. Rub a little coconut, olive or almond oil into your hair and scalp an hour before you shower.

Use lukewarm or cool water:

Hot water can damage your hair in the same way that heat from styling tools can – by dehydrating your hair and creating split ends. So always wash your hair with warm or cold water to close the hair cuticles and retain moisture in your hair.

Dilute your shampoo:

We all tend to use 2-3 presses of the shampoo bulb when washing our hair. But the harsh truth is that shampoo rinses your hair with its natural oils, leaving your hair dry. To prevent this from happening, dilute 1-2 squeezes of the shampoo pump in half a cup of water, then use it to wash your hair.
