What do we do with honey?
Honey has the same sweetening power as other sources of sugar, such as sugar cane or beetroot. It can, therefore, be used easily in cooking.
This is a natural element to which manufacturers have no right to add anything. In Canada, for example, all labels must bear the name of the origin of the honey, its quality and the flowers used to make it.

 The health properties of honey
Known to heal and help fight small and big sores of everyday life, honey has a number of activities on the body. It would have a prebiotic effect on our body, improving our intestinal habits, as well as an antioxidant action against cardiovascular diseases. It is found in prevention against the proliferation of cancer cells and for its antibacterial properties.

 Storage and conservation
Thanks to its high sugar content, a jar of honey can be kept for about 2 years in a cool and dry place. If it’s hot for a long time, it’s better to put the honey in the fridge. Similarly, if the production has not been pasteurized, to avoid the risk of fermentation, honey is kept at 10 degrees.
